3 days Tsavo East Safari

We start the 3-day Tsavo East safari with an early pick up from your hotel at about 06:00hrs in the morning, the journey takes you along the main Mombasa-Nairobi highway where traditional coastal culture slowly and noticeably begins to transform into semi-arid terrain the closer we approach Tsavo East National Park.

Arriving at the Tsavo East National Park gate, you will begin the safari game drive looking for animals on entry as we slowly and surely drive towards the direction of your accommodation looking for any resident wildlife that calls Tsavo East home.

At a size of 22,000Km2, Tsavo is one of the world's largest wildlife sanctuaries and is most noted for its dust-covered red elephant herds, its maneless lions and a variety of other wild animals including leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, buffalo, and other plains game. On arrival at Lion Hill Safari Lodge (or similar), you will be assisted with check-in and enjoy lunch followed by some relaxation. 

In the afternoon at about 16h00, continue with another series of game viewing in search of more animals and birds, concentrating on maximizing your photo opportunities of any wildlife we may spot. We then return to the lodge before sunset for dinner and overnight.
